Updates

Since the year started, I haven't had a quiet weekend. It was a rather busy time travelling in the month of January and Feburary.

Took off to New York for the a conference. Of course I had a fantabulous time in NY. I always do. Onle of my favourite cities. Thanks Edwin for letting me crash over! Twas freezing there. It's been a long long time since I felt that cold - numb - cold.

After the conference, I was off to London - my usual transit back to Dubai. Decided to take a short break to Brussels over the weekend. Had better make use of the cheap Eurostar under 26 tickets whilst I still had the chance to! Love that place... it's all about Belgian Chocolate, Waffles and Beer... and a pot of mussels. The atomium was one of the highlights. Definitely a structural engineering feat in the 1950s.

Got back to Dubai feeling all jetlagged and tired after an overnight flight. AND... I had to fly off to Cairo that very afternoon for work - yet again another mad rush. Fortunately it was only a 5 day stay.

War against my boss made me book a ticket back to Singapore for Chinese new year just 3 days after I got back from Cairo. Eat and collect angpow.

So that was my globe trotting in 6 countries in 5 weeks, over 4 continents, in 3 airlines, with 2 suitcases and in 1 body.

Exhausted. Need a rest now.
