I'm overdued on a few postings...
Well... here's some pictures from Cairo. It's a long story on what i've been doing... busy busy.

Holiday...

Was hunting around for destination for the coming december holidays.

Sort of narrowed down to Amman/Petra in Jordan, or Casablanca in Morrocco. I shall go check this out tomorrow!

Did you know... Petra is one of the new wonders of the world??

It's a city carved out from a mountain.... I think. Something like that... It was kept secret for many many years until one day, a journalist persuaded some local dude to take him in... (which he did eventually reluctantly)... and apparently that's the story on how the world "found" petra. True or not true... I don't know!! But is sure is very very pretty!

It is when you can't eat.... that you always feel very very hungry. No I'm not Muslim... but restaurants and cafes are mostly shut (except for big hotels). Dnata is open... but they wouldn't let anyone in except their staff!! And we can't eat, drink... in public, in the car... how inconvenient! I had to sneak some peanuts under my desk...

In Rome, do what the romans do... in UAE, do what the emiratis do...

Looking forward to my holiday back to SG and Melbourne.

So strange... when it rains in UAE, it would be on the news...

Weather has becoming much better over the last few days. Gets to about 41 and down to 30 at night.... Managed to sneak a game of golf in last weekend (at 630am though)

Will be back in Singapore next friday on the 21st. Cheryl... keep a day for me... we have to get the dress for Yujun's wedding because I'm not coming back in December.

Looking for holidaying destinations in December... Where should I go?!? Too many choices, insufficient funds!
